These measures are aligned with recognised industry standards and are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain effective and proportionate to the risks.

Our security controls include, but are not limited to:

  • Encryption in transit: We use HTTPS (HTTP Secure), encrypted via Transport Layer Security (TLS), to ensure secure communication between your device and our services. You can identify secure transmission by the lock icon in your browser, confirming that the certificate is issued by an official certificate authority to the relevant LLI legal entity.
  • Access controls and authentication: Access to personal information is strictly limited to authorised individuals who require it for legitimate business purposes, supported by modern authentication and Zero Trust Network Access technologies.
  • Continuous cybersecurity monitoring: We employ advanced monitoring tools that detect suspicious behaviour across our network, applications, email systems, and data flows. Where anomalies are identified, authorised cybersecurity personnel may review content to investigate and prevent security threats.
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and threat protection: We utilise automated controls to prevent the unauthorised movement of sensitive or special category data and to identify malicious or unsafe activity.
  • Regular security testing, assessments and governance: Our systems and security controls are reviewed, tested and audited as part of our ongoing cyber risk management, compliance and certification obligations.

While we take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal information remains secure from unauthorised access, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely risk free. We therefore cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted by you to our websites or services, as those transmissions are not under our control. Once we receive your information, we apply robust measures to protect it within our environment.

Cybersecurity Monitoring

To maintain the highest standards of security and safeguard our organisation, systems and data, we operate advanced cybersecurity monitoring tools across our corporate environment. This monitoring covers network communications, web and cloud‑based applications, AI‑assisted tools, file sharing, email traffic, and data transfers. These capabilities are supported by Zero Trust Network Access controls, ensuring all access attempts are continuously verified.

Monitoring is conducted in accordance with applicable data protection laws, and we ensure that monitoring is proportionate to the risks being managed and limited to what is necessary to maintain a secure, compliant, and resilient operating environment. Users of our IT systems are expected to use corporate systems responsibly and should be aware that cybersecurity monitoring is in place to protect both the organisation and its data.
